I suspect the license agreement doesn't explicitly state that  
Valentina will work in Windows 8 (or Mac OS 10.8, for that matter).  
But you'd be pretty upset if it didn't.

There is no need for controversy here. We're not going to change  
Apple's rules. We who use the MAS must comply or be forced out.

There are two simple solutions I see that don't require anything from  
Apple:

1. Bundle the ICU library in vcomponents. Erne's rejection using this  
approach doesn't count, since the path wasn't set properly to the  
executable. I'm hoping Erne will resubmit using V4.9.1 and this  
approach and see. I'll do that, too, as soon as problems with my  
certificates are solved.

2. Make two builds of 4.9.1, one with isNormalized and one without.
