So you do not have apostrophe for WESTERN encodings?!

You sure than that you use right char in source ?


* also what you get if
    * open db in Valentina Studio - Data Editor
            you see apostrophe?

    * export this table to text file with different encodings
        UTF8
        UTF16
        ISO

    in this was you can test db engine without director layer at all.
