vstudio import

Hello,

In the past I was able to import a mysql db using odbc on windows  
using vstudio.
Now when I perform the import, all I get is empty records. The  
structure is there and
the records are there but the values are all 0's and NULL's. Clearly  
something has
changed, is it on my end or vstudio's end? What do I do?

If there's a better way than odbc, I am open to it. I tried loading  
mysql dumps as well but with no success.

Any help would be appreciated.
