Something I forgot yesterday was user and group management. That's  
still lacking. There's none for local files accessed via VStudio and  
there's no groups for server based files. LDAP would still be nice  
but I realise not everyone uses LDAP servers so it's probably not a  
big deal - but it would be nice to just setup a Valentina group on  
our LDAP and not have to enter any passwords:)

supposedly FMP user experience with SQL (of your choice) as a  
backend. I tried it but never really liked it - I didn't find it that  
much like Filemaker.  When I looked at it they use Firebird for the  
base installation.

I guess but I'm a pencil and paper guy. I've heard a lot of people  
use the Omni tools (Outliner/draw etc) which ship on new macs.

I've never used query builder - I must look at it some time.
