I see AT LEAST one fix we should make:
    crash of clone.

Clone required to be very resistant to any corruptions.
Because we position it to be able clone even corrupted dbs.

Aha, I see now your point.

Then more useful is: steps how to reproduce.

    we run your app, do some steps,
    force app to quite. And check for corruption.
