In general case NO.

Cache leep LAST touched data.

If you DB is much bigger of cache,
And you do different kind of queries,
Can can help not too many.

It helps when you touch the same data.

I do not think ONE record search will help.

But if this will be LIKE search, it in any case will iterate all column
