Valentina DB locks under Mac

Hi,
I am not using OS X, I am using 9.1.6. After running
the Mac version and Windows version of Director for a
while, the Windows version no longer can open the
database...the error is the file is busy. Even when I
stop the program on the Mac, the file is still lock
until I exit out of director.
