VDN - VException thrown but no error message

Good Day everyone,
Well I checked and the vresources folder is where it should be and the .xml files do exist, but I’m still not getting any error messages.
Error messages with Xojo are the same, so it must be an installation problem.
Does a server connection use the same .xml files for error messages? I’m getting error messages when connected to VServer.
Would anyone have any other ideas?
Best Regards To All,
Johnny Harris

Hi Ivan,
I will fix that. I was having issues with icu*.dll files missing from the same location. I’m wondering if there is something with my system that keeps removing the files as
I had to replace the icu*.dll files again this morning. I’m suspecting Glary’s Utilities is removing the files for me.
Any way thank you very much.

Hi Everyone,
I’m working on creating a class in VB.Net (2013) for connecting to both Valentina Server and a Valentina Database file.
When I’m connected to the server VException returns a descriptive error message.
When I’m connected to a file database
an exception is thrown, but the error message is blank.
I’m assuming the file database should return more than a blank message.
I’ve tested this by running a query where the SQL statement contains a field that does not exist in the table.
Am I missing something that is causing the file database to not return an error message?
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Obviously kernel_errors.xml and sql_errors.xml are missed or can not be found.
Usually it should be placed into
\Program Files\Paradigma Software\VComponents_Win_VC\vresources\en
I mean, vKernel is looking for vresources\en\kernel_errors.xml; vresources\en\sql_errors.xml
"en" - for default locale which is presumed to be "english"
