Corrupt data

I just installed that very same program on Windows 7 running in
Parallels Desktop on a Mac. It is the latest stable vServer, sStudio,
v4Rev, and LiveCode. The data is visible and fine in vStudio. The
database opens fine in the LiveCode application but only number fields
open and display data. All fields that have characters are blank.

Next I'm going to borrow a Windows computer and try the same
installation -- this is for a LiveCode program that works perfectly
with MacOS.
