Question to French people about ''uvres' and 'Oeuvres'

What I meant was that you should see the same 
discrepancy for any other ligature which is 
recognized by ICU library.

what do you get for, for example:

compare( þagrance, flagrance )
compare( mediæval, medieval )
compare( Übung, Uebung )
