hello ivan,
i've checked versions...
the server log has the following:
/*************************************************************************************/
Mon Sep 19 2011 09:50:32.160000 VServer_Office (4.9.1, Kernel 4.9.1 )
and
C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradigma Software\vcomponents_win_vc\vkernel_release_x86.dll (dated aug-8-2011) has a version of 4.9.1
and
C:\Users\george\Documents\Paradigma Software\VCOM_4\VCOM.dll (dated aug-8-2011) has a version of 4.9.1
as far as i can tell, everything is up to date.
is there something else i should check?
thanks,
george

I have double checked it and found no such an issue.
CREATE TABLE t1( fldString String(50), fldVarChar Varchar(50) )
In result table (after CopyCursorToNewTable()) both fields are 50 symbols length and
all the data copied correctly.
