hello all,
is it possible to get a 'timestamp' of when a table has been modified?
modified could be anything...add/delete/update records, fields, links, indexes 
etc.

i need to maintain some local copies of a remote db's tables.
for a given table, i want to avoid refreshing the local copy if nothing has 
changed in the remote db throughout the day...hence the timestamp.
