No, Table and fields inherit settings of db.

Have you try open your vdb in the vstudio?
In the inspector check LocalName for db.

I have recall one issue.
   when you change db.LocalName
    this changes settings of LocaleAttributes.

Please check that. I.e. You may need return back your settings also
