VStudio 4: can't set value HKCR\VSP-file\DefaultIcon

I suppose it is Win7 or Vista?
Being  "Admin"  there  does  not  mean  "root" or "su". There are some
rights available for "Installers" only.

Anyway,  I  think you remove vStudio3 just deleting the programs - not
with  Add/Remove  programs  applet?  Probably most easy way is to find
vStudio there and perform uninstall procedure.
