V4CC Crashes

Yep!

To be true I was preparing a test project tu submit another bug I  
found in 4.5b3 and stumbled on this one.

Thinking it was my fault (as usually is the case ;-) I did try to run  
the examples and got the very same crash.

What's really weird is that, trying to check if it was a beta thing,
I installed the official 4.3 but couldn't get it to run at all...
it throws a dylib fatal error, this one must be some mistake of mine  
but just can't find where!
