Right now I have the cache set to (an admittedly low) 10MB. However, I've
tried setting it as high as 300MB with no discernible difference.

All the text fields are indexed. The two fields that email that email
bodies are saved in, as well as the subject fields, are both Indexed and
IndexedByWords.

If this is the case, why would it make a difference when saving to
mailboxes/databases that only contain 1,000 - 10,000 records? It only
seems to happen with the one containing 100,000 records.
