Hello,

there is a problem with german umlaute.
I use director 11.5 and v4md 4.3 with valentina office server 4.2

My director movie is build with director mx. And it work fine. All letters are stored correctly.

My steps:

1. open the MX-dir file with dir 11.5 and convert with "ANSI Latin I (codepage 1250)"

2. save text with umlaute to db

3. look with valentine studio to the field => wrong letter in place of the umlauts

4. read the same text => wrong letter in place of the umlauts are displayed at director movie

5. correct the wrong letter at the db-field with valentine studio

6. read the same text => the correct letters are displayed

Second case:

1. build a test-movie with director 11.5

2. save text with umlaute to db

3. read the same text => the correct letters are displayed

To change the ioEncoding to iso-8859-1 has no effect.
The default ioEncoding using director mx is iso-8859-1.
The default ioEncoding using director 11.5 is utf-8.

Any idea how to solve this?
