VS Pro Reports

A quick question re: reports. I'd like to build reports into my app. Do I need to distribute Studio Pro with the app in order to do so, or can I use the reporting capabilities within my Director EXE? The folks who need the info are librarians and archivists, etc., people who are not Dbase savvy on a technical level. I'm afraid Studio Pro will simply overwhelm them. Plus, the reports really need to be integrated into the project GUI. What are the options for this?
