ORDER BY sort command

I am using Valentina with Revolution and am trying to sort a SQL  
cursor.  I have
tried using ORDER BY with ASC and DESC but cannot get it to work  
properly.
It is most likely something very minor in my statement since I can  
SELECT to
get a cursor from any field without a problem.

Is there and example of the ORDER BY sort command or can someone supply
one that will work with a SQL cursor in Revolution and Valentina?
