Because your setup resembles closely to our setup and this rebooting  
through clicking is what we always do (in the rare event the server  
crashed that is)
We are working from OSX Server Tiger in a remote datacenter. The  
server is controlled through ARD. If the server crashes we relaunch it  
through Library/VServer_Embedded/
In this directory is the VServer_Embedded.app. We double click,  
VServer reboots ....Of course your license needs to be OK
