"Important is that ObjectPtr field point the same LOGICAL record as it was
in v1."

Yes, that is the important point, regrettably, it doesn't convert properly.

Even if the ObjectPtr has a new converted value that new converted value
should point to the same previous/pre-conversion/correct LOGICAL record.

It's my opinion that this needs to be investigated.

Is the value of the ObjectPtr supposed to be the foreign tables RecID?

Is there a way to rebuild 56 ObjectPtr Links for 2 gigs of data?
Preferably without hand coding queries etc.

  Thanks,

Well, I think most v1 users was converted 2 years ago.

You mean that after using of Convert_1_2() you get wrong values of ObjectPtr
?

Why you think that are wrong?

NOTE, that convert_1_2() WILL CHANGE many ObjectPtr values.
because in new db many records will have other RecID.

So if you just see OTHER values for ObjectPtr fields,
and think this is wrong, then NO, this is all right.

Important is that ObjectPtr field point the same LOGICAL record as it was in
v1.
