API-Classes-Way and xmlDump RecordsOnly

Hi,

I'm a Noobie and have the following problem:

I want to transfer my RecordData every time on creating a new  
instance of my structure-building DB-Subclass. Does anyone knows a  
way to do this ( i.E. using XmlDump and xmlLoadDump in code) ? I  
think, the Datafile .dat includes the whole structure, so I can't  
solve this problem via replacing Datafile.
