I would have waited 2 or 3 weeks and rolled the whole lot into 3.0  I  
thought at the time the move to v3 was rushed and this pretty much  
backs it up.

I don't believe a dot version with a change to db structure should  
happen. Can you imagine mysql/oracle,postgres,FMP/4D  doing a dot  
release and changing db formats without backward compatibility?  I  
don't think so...
