And what happens, if you use 3.5.1 to create files and then use the  
files with 3.5.2 does it work? So you can check if the issue is  
related with creation or with the cursor.

The reason why I asked for DB files and now ask for directory, I  
experienced several times different "lock / write error / ..." issues  
that caused by wrong rights on the directory or files.
