REVOLUTION - trouble with pictures. Help please.

I thought you wanted to store the JPEG, TIFF, etc. data in the  
Picture field because you wanted to recognize the type of picture by  
the stored data.  If you want the JPEG data stored in a Revolution  
image object then you have to use the text property, not the  
imageData.  If you just want to store the screen bitmap then you can  
continue to use the imageData property.
