[V4RB2] vString[12] or vString(24] ?

I am modifying my program to adapt it to V4RB2.
I work by defaut:  UTF8 in the program and UTF16 in the database.

With V4RB1, I have a vString [12 ] : 12 characters.
To work with V4RB2, do I have to convert it into vString [24] or keep the
size vString[12]?
