Just use this command in V4MD and it will do all the work:

    ValentinaEscapeString (string str, integer ForRegEx )

for example:

    ValentinaEscapeString(mySearchString, 0) // Not regex search
    ValentinaEscapeString(mySearchString, 1) // Regex (like) search
