The POS softwares is often installed on small specialized PC. This 
small PCs often has slow hard disks 2 " 1/2. It is for it that join 
them are slow I think, the hard disk slows down the operation a lot. In 
my tests, I noticed that a big table was faster because it sought less 
the hard disk.
