Do I understand right that

1. I do not need to mark fields as indexed, because VAL will index them automatically when a search is called. How long will the indexes be kept?

2. That I can build a DB and distribute it and when I make an application update where I need new tables and/or fields I can simply add them from the customer program? This was something what I really hated about V12 that you had could not create the db in runtime or change the structure afterwards.
