Both Server and Local databases?

For the kind of apps I write, this would be a useful combination. For
example, if I have a local DB which gets updates from a remote DB, local DB
acts like a cache so it's available even when offline - I'd need full local
and remote functionality for this to be workable. I'd actually kind of
assumed that things would work this way.
