You ask for hot backup.
As you understand Vserver do not have it now.
Hot backup have 2 issues.
1) ability to copy files during work.
2) big DBMS provide hot backup as one more client, that in transaction do
backup of all dbs. I believe that at this time, dbs records can be read only
for other clients.
Also this feature include backup into OWN format of backup files.
Igor have start development of such feature (and mostly done it) year ago,
But we did not enable it for now. I see sense return to it only after switch
to 2.0 engine.

So for now, you must stop server and copy db files.
I know the same task did exists in mySQL 3.x
And it seems they have resolve it in this way also.

As I have understand, I need debug DebugLevel(0)
But you can easy use for now Level 1.
It have no any overhead actually.
