ChangeEncryption - when does the change become persistent?

Hi,

Does the call to ChangeEncryption() make the encryption 'persistent'
immediately?

In other words, when changing the encryption key an existing database, do I
have to do a
'Close' or 'Flush' after 'ChangeEncryption'.

Any input regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
