Hi John,

We also very want introduce it ASAP.

I think we still few weeks from first alphas.
Than more that we will need connect new engine to V4RB and V4MD in the first
turn yet. For now we do C++ development only

Good news are that we already have integrate IBM ICU library into Valentina.
On windows it already works. On MacOS X I still need resolve few problems
with ICU compilation under CodeWarrior itself.

BTW, MacOS 10.3 also include ICU !
But Apple have hide it and do not give access to third party...

FYI: so now Valentina kernel internal TOTALLY work on with UTF16.
    all other formats are support as conversion on the fly on
    moment of input/output.


It is great that IBM guys have provide in this library very cool feature
needed for database development. This was great pleasure for me.
