[V4MD] Database size

Looking over the XML of my own database, maybe it's those two fields with the
20480 segment size that's making the initial build so big. I didn't know how big
to make those...they need to be able to hold about a page of text max. I can't
find a definition in the docs of what "segmentSize" really means, or even how it
is measured (bytes? KB? characters?).
