Hi Katy,

I think you use bad build of 1.9.8
Please download latest build of 1.9.8 or may be even 1.10b11 of V4MD

And I think you will start get instead error 363 Cannot set lock.

This means that you need read docs how record locks work,
And pay attention to record locks parameters when you build cursor
