[V4MD]Record not found

What exactly happens when we get the error  "Record not found"?

Director MX, MacOsX, V4MD1.9.8

Sql = "Select t1.F1 from t1, t2 where ((t2.f1 like '(?i)something') and
(t2.f2 = t1.f1))

I make the cursor. Most of time, this is OK but sometimes I get the error
"Record not found".
I don't understand why.
Can you help me?
