Contact Information Leads to Sales

I just had a call from a fellow who purchased a product made with
REALbasic and Valentina for REALbasic. The product timed out for some
reason, but the website of the developer has no contact information on
it whatsoever, even though it’s selling a product through eSellerate for
$29. He contacted me because he did find the requirement references to
Valentina.

This guy loved the software but he was extremely frustrated and wanted
to purchase.

I know who the developer is and supplied the fellow with both email and
phone numbers (found using my own brand of detective work!).

I bring this up because I know there are developers on both the
Valentina and REALbasic lists who create great products but bemoan
underperformance. The world will not beat a path to your door if you
make a great product, especially if your door doesn’t have a welcome mat
on it.
