I downloaded the updated a12 docs and the docs are still pretty unclear. I
suggest the following:

 ** Pg 9 (vdatabase local/remote)

(There's lots of typos on this page :-)

The vdatabase() remote use section should say:

If the OPTIONAL inPort parameter is not used, a connection using this object
will be attempted using VServer's default port value of 5432.

The inPort parameter is REQUIRED if the port setting in your VServer .ini
file is not using the default port of 5432.

The optional inPort parameter allows you (or other developers) to have more
than one VServer available on a Host computer.



 **  Pg 70-89 (vserver)
  
Page 74 (vserver info) describes the 'inPort' parameter:
         "On default is used the standard port of Valentina Server."

It should say:
    
By default the VServer ini file will use port = 5432.

If the default port is used, the port number is OPTIONAL when clients make a
connection to VServer. Unique port values must be used  to allow more than
one Vservers to be accessed on a Host.
