Assuming that it is Mail's File menu - Import mailboxes and choosing 
Entourage that is not working, you could try
-Export from Entourage as mbox format (drag and drop mailbox onto 
desktop),
-Mail.app - File Menu - Import mailboxes -Mbox format

That's an untested suggestion though.

I'm suprised they doesn't just work anyway, but:
If booted in 9 I'd say use SoundApp

In OS X set ITunes preferences to import, use aiff converter, drop the 
snd files on the itunes window and use the advanced menu -convert 
selection to aiff command.
