Valentina examples will not run

Some more information. I got the same failure with a build that had RAM settings too low. When I changed the memory allocation to a healthy size, it ran okay. This was with a standalone application, not in debug mode. Not sure why memory would be the culprit in debug mode, since I have 150MB of RAM allocated to the RB IDE.
