Exists commands DIAGNOSE and XML Dump/Load
But hey work with opened db.

Yes, Valentina can work with files >2GB.

You can MOVE this vdb file to other location (if you have several files)
And try to open it in VAPP. If it opened, then problem in dat files.
Try simply trash .ind file.
