Vserver Win Does not work here

When Fred was having trouble, I tried VServer on my WinXP machine and I 
have the same problems.
I have followed this thread and implemented all of Igor's suggestions.
I can verify it is installed as a service (it's listed in the services 
console). When I look into my Event Viewer -> System log, I can see that 
the server (which is configured to run automatically) is successfully sent 
a start event and then immediately stops again :-(
I have no idea why - the ini file etc. is configured properly.

Below is a copy of the contents of VServer.log (not that it appears to tell 
you anything worth knowing):
