Pascal/C SDK and Executable Size

Hello,

We are running into a curious situation with Valentina and I'm
wondering if it is common. We are using the Pascal/C SDK to
integrate database functionality into a Carbon application.
Before using Valentina, the size of the compiled binary was
around 500K. But after integrating the SDK into our application,
the size has increased drastically to 1.8 MB. Is this pretty
common. Have any of you seen this type of increase?
