Hi all,

you can download new Valentina Studio builds - a45 - for Mac and Win.
http://www.valentina-db.de/en/downloads/downvstd.shtml

These are the changes/News:

- Serial number support
You can now register Valentina Studio to get rid of the 10 minutes timeout.
Details for registration will follow.

- ODBC support improved. MS-Access data source work now
Please - everybody with MS-Access databases should test this. Simply
choose "Connect to server" from the file menu. In the drop-down list choose
"ODBC data source" - then
enter the name of the data source into the field "Hostname"
(This not very intuitive way will of course be changed)

- Update Routine for vsPrefsDB (no need to trash it anymore...)
Hopefully all vsPrefsDB's should now automatically updated - no need to
trash the old one's
any more.

- ListView: List Selection now changes current object correctly
Also some other bug fixes with "+" and "-" buttons.

- Removed some memory leaks

- New Info window added (Property Inspector bounded to single object)
This means that you can open a Info-window for each selected object - the
content of this window
will NOT change if you select another object. Now you can compare properties
from several objects by
opening as many info-windows as needed.

- Server Monitor added
This window refreshes itself in a user defined time intervall. it shows all
databases on a Valentina server - and
all connections to selected databases. You can register/unregister databases
from this window. It is also possible
to kill existing connections. DON'T KILL vStudio's own connection for
now!!!!!

- JavaScript Engine "Spidermonkey" included as Plugin
- "Startup.js" script is now executed during startup
This is the start of scripting support. The industry standard JavaScript
Engine "Spidermonkey" from the mozilla project is
now included as a plugin. As a start 4 Valentina Studio commands are
available as JavaScript functions - so that you
can play with it. You can find a folder "Scripts" in vStudio's folder (on
Mac it is located INSIDE the application package. Please
look at the comments in the file "Startup.js" in this folder for more
information.

Please note: I will be out of office till Sunday. So most likely i will not
respond immediately to postings to the list.
