As I use RealBasic/Xojo, perhaps my comment are irrelevant.

1) Are you sure that it's a string value and not an integer (in PARAM:
inEnumDateFormat = "kYMD") ?
I wonder because in RealBasic, kYMD is an integer constant and  the error
message seems to say  that the date format is not modified

or

2) Perhaps Valentina ask a year with 2 digits ?
