Hi Ruslan,

 

No not really. I have admin rights but under Win7 the ,Administrator' is not
the real admin (UAC). So you have to start VStudio once 'As Administrator'
(via right click) to register VDB files.

 

So: you have to know this fact and if you uninstall VStudio you leave this
registration data in the registry. If you register the file type with the
setup routine you have 2 benefits: the setup.exe has automatically elevated
rights and can register the file and if you uninstall, this data can be
removed.
