100MB cache this is too many I think.
10-20MB will work good for 99% of cases.

No this is not enough of course.
Because as you know hundreds developers use it without such problem.
I think secret is somehow in your tables and fields.
So we need to get at least your compiled application,
And steps to add that 66 record or 1900 records.
I prefer test on 3MB cache and amount of record enough to get problem.
