Don't look at details but the concept. There I use their interface to 
add records to a database on the server. In your case, I would be 
using one of your examples to do something similar. I found those 
sandboxes very useful and helping me to decide to choose Moodle as an 
elearning platform.

It's not a game. And nobody would be forced to use it. The baseline 
for my suggestion was to allow people running all your examples 
without having to go through hoops of installing a server. If you 
don't want to do it because MySQL doesn't do it or you don't think it 
is a good idea, then don't do it :) Case closed.
