I tried another large db -- only 19 MB. Diagnose db -> OK.

Just playing with it (NO addition or deletion of records) -> sporadic 
crashes, often with no log. When there was a log the crash was always 
in V Kernel.

Since this db was stable in 2.0.3, I suspect that the new caching 
routines may be the problem.
