I tried to create a database with a Greek name (databaseCreateOpenClose).

Two problems:

res = mDataBase.Create and res = mDatabase.open -> error, this method 
does not return a result.
If I remove the 'res =' it compiles.

The database name in the Finder was garbage: ???

Right. Works fine (SQL fails).
